TSA and locks

All our items are equipped with fixed or additional combination locks. 
Many of them are TSA compliant, recognizable by the red TSA logo on the lock :   

What is TSA ?

Attention : the lock is delivered without a key, only TSA authorities have this.

TSA, also known as Transportation Security Administration was founded in the wake of 9/11 to strengthen the security of the United States transportation systems. Every passenger’s luggage is screened by the authority before it is placed on an airplane.
In the event that specific luggage has to be physically inspected, normal locks may be forced opened and damaged in the process.

TSA approved locks, on the other hand, provide passengers the liberty to prevent thefts, while allowing TSA authorities to open and re-lock the lock with a “universal master key”. These locks bear the special red TSA identification mark.

Due to safety and security concerns when traveling by airplane, the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, screens each passenger's baggage before it is allowed to be taken on the plane. This typically involves sending the bag through a machine that allows the TSA agent to view the contents without opening it. On occasion, an agent may need to open the bag for further inspection. If your bag uses a traditional lock, it will be cut open. TSA-approved locks, however, are designed to open with a master key held by all TSA agents.
